I've been WHAT, tagged? OK, lol!

1. I've been a single mom for 13 years now, WOW, that's hard to believe. (This will be our 9th year home-schooling!)

2. I have 2 kids, my son will be 18 October 20 and then November 5th my daughter will turn 16. (They're 2 years, 2 weeks and 2 days apart, and no I couldn't have planned that if I would have tried, lol.)

3. This is my 3rd business that I have owned. (My 1st was a pet shop that started while I was in high school, 2nd was grooming, showing and training dogs professionally because I closed the pet shop, and NOW I'm a crafter.)

4. When I was born I was 2 1/2 months early and only weighed 2 pounds and 14 ounces. I spent the 1st 2 months of my life in the NICU unit at Rainbow Babies hospital.

5. I got to meet the nurse that took care of me when I was a baby. I was at the same hospital several years ago now with a friend who's son got hit. While we were waiting for him to come out of 1 of his surgeries I went for a walk (surgery was to take 2-3 hours) and ended up in the NICU unit. I asked if there would happen to be any nurses that were there 20ish years ago. She said 1 but she was at lunch but would be back in a few minutes, so I waited. We talked for a bit and she told me she remembered me because I was her 1st SUCCESSFUL baby!

6. My mom is still alive and well but my father passed away about 2 years ago now. He died very suddenly from cancers. Long story short, he fell out of a tree right after father's day, went to the hospital and had a CT scan that showed no internal injuries, 4-5 weeks later he was having BAD stomach pain so he went back to the hospital and had anoth CT scan. This scan showed a mass almost baseball size in his stomach and a few spots in his liver and somewhere else that I forget now. 1 week later (on a Friday) they figure out that it's cancer, Monday they told him the type of cancer and he died Tuesday. The cancer doc said he had never seen cancer strike THAT fast or aggressively in all his 20+ years of dealing with cancer patients.

7. I have 1 nephew and 2 nieces from my only living sister. My nephew spent 3 months living with me this past summer. (NOT by choice but that's a whole other story, lol.) He also spends almost every weekend at my house as does his youngest sister. The middle child doesn't like Aunties house because I make her follow my rules or get punished.

8. I can be a work-a-holic, lol. I've been known to stay up until 2 or 3am working on a project, grab a 1-3 hour nap, get up and go again.

9. I've had a website online for almost 14 years now (NOT the same one but have had MANY over the years) my current one is www.BAKidagain.com and you can see my show calendar, blog, tutorial on how I make the ornaments, and a whole lot more.

10. I am blessed! God always provides for my needs. It's always interesting to see how He's going to come through with ABCXYZ when I need it but He always does!
